Hope everyone has had a great winter!
We have been very busy trying to get everything ready for the upcoming season. I would like to extend
my deepest appreciation to my car owners Ray Williams and Tom Willis, as we will be starting our 4th
season together.
I am also pleased to announce that Commercial Music, Smoke Pit Bar-B-Que, Urban Nissan, Sprint Car
Exchange, Afco Shocks, Hoosier Tire, Eagle Chassis and Wells Racing Engines will be back on board for
the 2007 season. Lightning Wings has decided to come on board as a sponsor this season too, and we’
re excited to have them be a part of the team.
We are going to try to run the late model and modified on a limited schedule this year with our main
focus being on the sprint car.
We will be kicking the season off at Texas Motor Speedway on March 1-3, we are planning on racing
both the late model and modified at this show.
We will start our sprint car season out at Cowtown Speedway on March 10th with our local car, our ASCS
season is set to begin on March 16th with a 2 day show at Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite.
My kiddos will be participating in the go-karts this year, Friday night’s at Cowtown. Mackenzie who has
been cheerleading over the winter has decided to give the go-kart racing another whirl. My son Dylan
is turning 4 and wants to race a go-kart like his sister, he will not be running competitively this season
we are just planning on letting him practice and get some seat time before he hits ‘the big time.’
OK, I have saved the most exciting for last. Williams Motorsports has purchased a midget that I will be
driving in the 2008 Chili Bowl. I’ll be sharing more information about that when it is available.
